Thanks to David for putting this together. I'd be happy to go again to Bristol if there will be another trip next year.

Too bad we didn't see Andy & Peter at dinner to say good bye. We'll see you again next time. It was great seeing everyone there.

Here's a few photos from the river which Ritsuko and I enjoyed walking along:

Well, thanks to everyone who joined in enthusiastically for this meet. I really enjoyed the chance to get together and have a few hours with friends. Thanks also for your kind

comments, it was an absolute pleasure bringing things together. Hopefully both Pete and Robert are feeling fighting fit again!!!

It was also well worth wandering into St Nicholas Market and meeting up with Tracey (SmithyT) who was braving the chilly weather whilst manning her stall. Well worth a visit

on a Saturday if you happen to be in the area!

As usual, the Shakespeare Tavern proved an ideal watering hole after a wander around the harbour and the meal at Giuseppe's, overseen ably by Giuseppe's son Alex, proved

to be an ideal way to bring a successful day to a close!

Also glad to have rescued my Leica Passport from the London Camera Exchange even though Tom was not there, instead spending his time, more importantly, with his wife

and new daughter born at 9 o'clock on Saturday morning. Congratulations Tom!!

Here we have Simon (DigitalHeMan), Pete (farnz), Tracey (SmithyT) learning more about Leica from Robert (robert_parker) at Tracey's stall in St Nicholas Market.

Once again, thank you all for making my planning time worthwhile!! Roll on spring time when I shall be organising a return visit to Bath.

Hope to see you all and more (the more the merrier) next year!!!

What a great day Saturday; we both enjoyed it immensely. It was so good to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, if only for a couple of hours. The watering hole and restaurant were both superb and we would like to thank David and Lynn most sincerely for arranging the meet.

We would certainly be up for either Bath or Bristol next year if David is kind enough to arrange another event.

Cheers, Tom & Eileen

Ditto.

But how about a Cambridge meeting next year...?

Strange you should mention that Andy as I had been thinking that maybe I should try to arrange something. Trouble is I'd have to live up to the high standard that you, David and Pete have set. The other problem is that I often have to go away at short notice and wouldn't want to let anyone down.

That said, who would be interested? If enough people then I'll give it some serious thought.

Regards to all, Tom

Now you see, that is why I hate having my photo taken... I do NOT photograph! Especially having been standing about in the cold for hours. Urghhhh. Honestly, I don't normally look like I am a member of the undead hoards. Oh god, or maybe I do and thats why the stall was quiet....... arghhhhh....

Sigh.

Thanks Pete. Oh well, thats what soft focus was invented for!! :D

I admit I always cringe at myself in photos or on film, i'm definately more of a behind the camera sort of person than infront of one! :p

I will start your poll Gibbo.....

NO!

:D
