But it's only now that the price has gone way up (and of course it was a very small run number, too.) I suppose it's kind of like any potential collectible, the price can go up or it might not. If the camera will be much lighter? I'm not that interested as I can't afford myself such an expensive camera to shoot with. The camera weighs approximately 90 grams less than a regular MP. Even the special body cap is made from titanium, as is the ISO selector disc on the back of the camera. Considering that in past big national dealers and societies commissioned own special editions it is probably possible to have one off small batch. This used to be my favourite looking MP along with the hammertone version, but nowadays I would like to see a metered version of the stainless steel M-A with its revised shutter-speed dial and rewind knob.
