spylaw4 Posted May 5, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 5, 2007 This is a really delightful shot. I love the light shimmering on the water in the forground and the subtle blue tones throughout.

Artichoke Posted May 5, 2007 Share #7 Posted May 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) the star flare from that lens helps as well only a quibble, but I would try to clone out the ghost(s?) near the center I also wonder why you used such a small aperture I think you may have lost some detail to diffraction & likely gained little in DOF given the focal length of the lens used and the distance to your subject all this said this is an excellent nocturnal photograph
JohanV Posted May 5, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted May 5, 2007 I wanted the exposure to be as long as possible in order to get the water to become very smooth.
Photoskeptic Posted May 5, 2007 Share #9 Posted May 5, 2007 Good job, Johan. Your long exposure worked great, givng the image the softness it needed to produce tranquility.
