Louis Posted August 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 8, 2014 I am always amazed by the IQ of this little camera. Now, if the next LX/DLux is going to have a bigger sensor (1"), who needs Leica M?... It would be small and discrete for street photography with a great IQ!... Can't wait to see that!

John Basso Posted August 9, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 9, 2014 Hallo Louis. Thank you so much for your comment.I think that all of the dl 4,5 &6 are excellent camera's despite they small sensors.I am also looking forward to the next LX8 (Leica DL7?) I expect the LX8 to be slightly larger, than the LX7 ( DL6 )But I can live with that.If it turned out to be a fabulous camera I will have to put my resources together to buy it.But I will try very hard to also keep my DL6 , Because the lens will be hard to beat.AS you know I am using Aperture, which unfortunately will be no longer supported by Apple . A great pity this is.LR5 will be to expensive to operate ,But I think that third parties might write some very good plat forms for the new Apple photo application. We'll have to wait and see . Greetings: John Basso.
