erl Posted August 18, 2014 Share #21 Posted August 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) The F1 is not bad on the MM, but softer.. To twist your intended meaning about 'not bad', you are correct it is not, but actually good. Yes the f1.0 Noct is softer, but sharp is not better if we are concerned about 'good' pictures. We all know that some of the best pictures in the world are technically flawed. I try to not see soft as a flaw (admittedly I struggle), but look for opportunities to exploit that particular characteristic. In fact I am now inspired to drop a roll of Monochrom film into my M6 and hook up the f1.0 Noct and do my regular dog walk. Life is sooo good. erl Posted August 19, 2014 Share #24 Posted August 19, 2014 Holy smokes. I'm glad I'm not near Australia. Lightning is surely going to strike you for saying sharp is not always good. You were right! It just missed. I hid behind the Noctilux and was safe. Welcome, dear visitor! the warrior Posted August 19, 2014 Share #25 Posted August 19, 2014 I've tried all the Noctilux and summilux 50 (I have the ASPH). I just shot and Noctilux F0.95 Monochrom long. I have the 28 cron ASPH but only occasional use. A F0.95 I do many photographs, I like to think and say that every step I open diaphragm stripping the person going to see your soul. Bokeh is really exceptional for me. You should be careful to get out of taking the starlit sky, and work one step below the measurement with this camera and this lens, Noctilux F0.95 see light where there is none. In my flickr you see many photographs and F0.95 Noctilux f1, and now I'm starting to hang only Monochrom and F0.95 https://www.flickr.com/photos/108295717@N08/ A photo: f0.95 and 1 meter of the girl, crop 100% Welcome, dear visitor! DigitalHeMan Posted September 27, 2014 Share #39 Posted September 27, 2014 You would get more responses if you posted the shot directly here, it's quite a slow web site to click through to I'm surprised you say the Monochrom is much smaller than the 240 as I thought there was only 1 or 2mm in it?
