An interesting shot of the Jackrabbit. Traveling through a harvested field, he must be a visitor. The only place I've seen Jackrabbits was in the southwest USA like Bryce NP or Zion NP. We have lots of regular cottontails where I live. In fact, I usually see one or two in my back yard until the dogs go out and chase them.

they are all loners ... yet .... and by the mown fields you can see here and there better .....hide is then useless ....:D:)
