mikeleng Posted June 18, 2014 Share #1  Posted June 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wanted to see how easy/hard it would be to capture the coastline and wildlife on the east coast (UK) with the Leica M9P and 3 lenses 35, 50 and 90 . I was going to be doing a fair amount of walking, so I left my trusty 5D2 and lenses at home . Its not easy as you will know, trying to capture birds in flight, but I managed to get a lot of keepers using a Leica rangefinder . I've been thinking for sometime to upgrade to the latest M, I think I'll keep my trusty M9P a little longer . Comments welcome regards Mike  Welcome, dear visitor! Iduna Posted June 18, 2014 Share #4 Â Posted June 18, 2014 Mike, these are two very delighful series. The birds series is great in timing and sharpness. So they are excellent. You could manage even good very nice compositions. Great respect The lanscapes are truly gorgeous in atmophere and composition. :)
pauledell Posted June 19, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted June 19, 2014 Excellent results with the fine outfit you used. I have just about retired my Nikon DSLR just for the misery it causes carrying all the weight. Â Paul

fotografr Posted June 19, 2014 Share #9 Â Posted June 19, 2014 Several very fine images here. If you are patient, there's no reason you can't use a rangefinder for wildlife photography. You have demonstrated that quite well.
