Michael Hiles Posted June 7, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted June 7, 2014 Looks nicely made. Â I use a do-it-yourself version of the Y-Strap. Works brilliantly. My camera comes to my eye smoothly and quickly, and the camera hangs at my side easily and at a level that I can lightly hold i in my hand. Best I have ever seen/used. Peter H Posted June 14, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted June 14, 2014 I think it looks completely out of scale with the camera.
spydrxx Posted June 14, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted June 14, 2014 It reminds me of the gigantic emblazoned straps which come with new Nikon and Canon bodies. Not sophisticated at all. Although I usually make my own, Luigi makes some really nice durable straps which complement the Leicas.
elgenper Posted June 14, 2014 Share #7  Posted June 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M240 wears: Leica Leather Carrying Strap (Black) 18776 B&H Photo Video  I think it looks completely out of scale with the camera.  It seems to be the same strap that comes with the Monochrom. If so, someone, somewhere (B&H?) has done a bad Photoshop job, with different scales for the strap and the semi-transparent camera. One may have different opinions about the Monochrom strap (I find it OK), but at least it isn´t out of scale; it looks nothing like the B&H illustration in real life. asiafish Posted June 16, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted June 16, 2014 I've been using a Gordy's strap for the last year or so and so far it is wearing well and broken in nicely.

The buckle will be the weak spot as this design will come lose.  If you do buy it, I would suggest taking it to a cobbler and have him run some stitches there to strengthen.
