My M240 Framelines are too dim. Can it be adjusted?

I couldn't find my answer when I went scowering through the index of the manual and the search function of the forum. The closest I got was some thread about 'flickering framelines.' Can the brightness of the framelines be manually adjusted?

 

The reason my framelines are too dim, is that for my application I am using the 135mm Elmarit with the goggles. The goggles block the ambient light sensor. As a result, the framelines are tricked to think that it is too dim. So I can't see the framelines at all.

 

I am open to suggestion and ideas.

According to Technical data sheet of M240, on optical viewfinder area: "brightness adapted to ambient conditions,"

So if the goggles block the light sensor at the center front of camera it will dim.

Thank you very much. For those who cannot be bothered to click the link, it suggests some white tape. I decided to take it a step further.

 

I found some reflective alunimum tape and taped it to the inside of the goggles to reflect the light behind me into the sensor. When the sun is behind me it works great; a vast improvement. When the sun is in front of me, it doesn't help as much.

could this issue be completely resolved by Leica adding an option in the menu to disable 'auto brightness' and enable 'fixed brightness' as an option?

 

Fixed brightness could have too options: bright and dim. Or it could be a scale option...

 

I have several goggled lenses and this is an issue with them- but also in other cases with normal lenses under certian conditions I sometimes find the 'auto brightness' framelines to be dimmer than I would like.

the most annoying thing about M240 is this stupid sensor that doesn't have manual control in the menu. in dark places it becomes so dark that its almost impossible to see the frame-lines. why they don't put a f'ing manual control for it like the EVF and LCD.
