pauledell Posted May 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 13, 2014 Hank, If that is shooting from the hip, you're doing better than some from the eye level. These are great pictures. Paul
stuny Posted May 13, 2014 Share #3 Posted May 13, 2014 But a remarkable first attempt.
Echo63 Posted May 13, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 13, 2014 pretty good effort for not looking through the finder, they are sharp and reasonably well framed - something i can't do with my M I find i can easily shoot from waist height with my 1D and 16-35, but trying with the M ends up with a picture without the subject in it. I suppose the M is new, and i have been shooting with the 1D for years
Iduna Posted May 13, 2014 Share #5 Posted May 13, 2014 Hank, this is a very promising attempt and this series has nice results, nice framing and good pp. I also have to get bold enough to do so and feel quite encouraged to start also.
Hank Taylor Posted May 13, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted May 13, 2014 When waiting for my wife shopping, (I hate to do) it does give me a little time to play around . these shots were with a 28mm 2.8 on the M9, but plan to crop later. Very hard to use full frame:) Hank
