EV: Do You Change It Often?

Thanks. I have tried that. Even spent time practicing setting the dial by counting clicks in the dark. But in a practical situation I find A mode or even manual with the "info" on the display to be both qiucker and more reliable. Just my own opinion on this.

Hookeye, don't ask me why, but I'm having difficulties counting up in the dark. :D

Maybe because I'm used to the MP which doesn't have aperture priority I just learned it this way. The MP works faster though as I only have to count down from 1.000 and it doesn't have 'clicks' in between.

To you "manual only" purists: How do you find out what shutter speed you are working with when it is too dark to read the shutter speed dial? Is there some trick that I have missed, I would be very grateful if you could let me know!
