I wonder whether he would be able to fix a DM-R with the infamous Error 2 problem … ?:)

 

An old school repairer who's passing his skills and knowledge along to his son. He is to be applauded!

I wonder if he is related to Hardy Mueller? A German technician who trained in the Rollei factory and about 50+ years ago repaired to perfection my old Rollei TLR which had a separated lens element. I bought the camera for 10 bob (about $10) from Wagners (Melbourne) and Hardy re-cemented the lens element on the upturned base of a steam iron (without steam!) for the sum of 1 pound (About $2)! Stupidly I sold that camera, but did graduate to a Hasselblad.
