earleygallery Posted May 7, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted May 7, 2014 "The lens quality is also higher with the Leica, again at a much higher price point (optical corrections vs digital correction in camera)" - what makes you say this? Where is the link to the information that Leica have provided stating the lenses are optically corrected not digitally? Â Have you seen the thread about how Leica applies digital corrections, and the 'raw' shot showing quite extreme barrel distortion?
viramati Posted May 7, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted May 7, 2014 reiterates pretty much how I feel about this camera. Fuji will basically be a better photographers tool, T may have a slight edge on IQ (at base iso and in good light) and looks pretty sexy

AlanG Posted May 7, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted May 7, 2014 I just glanced at the first picture on that link and it immediately hit me that the Fuji looks more like a Leica.

AlanG Posted May 7, 2014 Share #7  Posted May 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) and the leica like a sexy version on the NEX7  They could not have been influenced by the Nex 7 since, Leica wrote, "Discover the whole story – and how Leica and the Leica T break entirely new ground in the world of photography."  No built in EVF either. lct Posted May 28, 2014 Share #9 Â Posted May 28, 2014 The Fuji 23/1.4 is almost two times bulkier than the Summicron-T 23/2 though (72 x 63mm vs 63 x 37mm). Two times cheaper as well...

Everyone does.
lct Posted May 28, 2014 Share #11 Â Posted May 28, 2014 At different levels... The Fuji lens is almost distortion free optically, which is not the case of the Leica to be honest.
