thought some might like seeing this

it is the first passion flower of the spring for which I used my recently acquired 65 Elmar on the M8, pushed to near its focus limit without an extension tube

let me know what you think ...I have been delighted with this Viso lens for macro work, despite what Putts had to say about it ...the M8 handles reds very well

this plant is a favorite in our garden, both with my family & with the butterflies & birds

the only downside is that it is very aggressive and even attacks robust climbing roses

we have to beat it back every year, but that only seems to increase its determined output
