Hello,

I just received my M240 last week and it works fine. However, I found a stuff seems like film tilts on the upper right side of rangefinder.I tried to tear it off but failed and it seems covered closely.I am not sure it is a film or there is film on that. It's very tiny. So anyone knows that whether there is a film covered on the rangefinder or mine is a little defect?

have you look closely enough? it looks like small crack to me.

No, it's not like a glass or plastic crack. It's actually like a thin film broken and exposing an edge. It's hard to express. I just worried if it's like a protector film, if it is, that's ok. But if it's glass defect, I would probably get a exchange.

it looks like a minuscule flaw in the coating. It would not bother me, but if you are in the habit of selling your camera when you upgrade to a new model, I would have it attended to.
