Northwest Wanderer Posted April 1, 2014 Share #1  Posted April 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was lucky enough to see this male Mountain Bluebird today. He and his mate were selecting a nest site. I've built and placed a few bluebird nest boxes on my property for these colorful birds. They are a sure sign of spring in my area. Welcome, dear visitor! Northwest Wanderer Posted April 2, 2014 Author Share #7 Â Posted April 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you everyone. The bluebirds really stand-out in the early spring. With the lack of green grass, leaves on trees, etc their shocking blue color is welcome.
