Advertisement Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Hi sabdo_h, Take a look here Leica M4-P Shutter Problem , slow speed to fast. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
normclarke Posted March 25, 2014 Share #2 Posted March 25, 2014 A clean lube and adjust should be all you need. The slow speed mech is easy to cure, but seek a repair man who knows the system! Best, normclarke.
earleygallery Posted March 25, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 25, 2014 Don't send the camera to Leica, they charge a fortune! You don't say where you are, but there is a list of recommended camera repairers on this site. A simple repair/CLA should cost around £200 / equivalent. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-news/leica-repair-specialists/
jerzy Posted March 25, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 25, 2014 A bit confusing your message sabdo, You wrote that ALL speeds sound like 1/1000. Then it is not slow speed mechanism (or not only). Does shutter opens at all? Can you see the light through the back door opened when you shoot? Anyhow, yes it may be repaired.

Yes when i set 1s , 1/2 , 1/4 till 1/1000 i think this speed no differences. when put the light on the front of camera and try to shoot , curtain shutter open at all.
