Just to say that if anyone is editing in Photoshop or uses it to save their final image, the 'save for web' command clears the EXIF data.

Robert, with respect I think that is not completely accurate. I can still find my copyright mark in files I have prepared that way for the forum and other places.

It does remove the copyright symbol from the file title, but under 'File Info' it can still be found there.

I think the confusion is that copyright info is IPTC rather than EXIF data. Save for web removes the EXIF but maintains the IPTC (and therefore copyright) which, if you think about it, is exactly what you usually want for posting an image online :)

I will ask Andy to post this in all of the sub forums to increase the attention

I have also added two threads in the challenge sub forum for people to share other images, should they wish.

An excellent idea, Simon, but with the greatest respect wouldn't it be better to hold off on these threads until after the voting has finished to avoid inadvertent comparison or accidentally revealing who took Challenge photos?

Pete.

As long as no one posts their challenge photo in the thread, we should be OK ;) the threads were for images taken during the rest of the week, but if people would rather wait that's also fine.
