A question about M 240 sensor cleaning

It isn't an immediate issue, but when the time comes...

I have a choice between doing it myself or paying my New York dealer (FotoCare) to do it or, I suppose, sending the camera to Leica's New Jersey office.

Given the cost of the camera, my inclination is to pay my dealer or NJ to do it, but I gather that many of you do it yourselves.

I was at B&H in New York a few days ago, and when I asked about products to clean the sensor, which B&H sells, the B&H employee that I was dealing with told me flat out to pay someone to do it. Given that B&H itself doesn't clean sensors, I found the advice interesting.

FotoCare charges $50 or five cleanings for $200. They run a significant rental operation for commercial photographers so I'm sure have a fair amount of experience with this. Don't know what Leica New Jersey charges or what the turnaround time is.

Advice appreciated.

I do my own.

Rocket blower most of the time.

Arctic Butterfly sometimes.

Visible Dust for wet clean.

Haven't tried the sticky rubber tipped things yet but maybe in the future if I can get one.

This thing is a dust magnet until the static dissapates.
