Ozoyo Posted January 3, 2014 Share #21 Posted January 3, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Oh my god, you can do that? That's faw*ing amazeballs Although I have seen the M240 spit out B&W jpegs OOC, and they look perfect as is. +1, I had not realized it worked that way. Great. I might still keep the JPGs though, as Leonil says, they are great most of the time and save the trouble of having to go through LR.

jip Posted January 7, 2014 Share #22 Posted January 7, 2014 Yes I shoot DNG+JPEG too I just thought I should mention it since it is the first M that can do this preview without needing the JPEG. I usually shoot DNG+JPEG so when I import them into Lightroom, it also imports the JPEG's u won't see them in the Lightroon library though. But! Since my whole library is on/in Dropbox I can easily use those JPEGs on my iPhone and iPad for sharing...

luigi bertolotti Posted January 7, 2014 Share #25 Posted January 7, 2014 Hi everyone, My best wishes for the new year!I start this year in a lucky way:D. Since two days I am the owner of an M (240) and a summicron-m 35mm ASHP. I allready had a lux 50mm ASHP. I wanted to buy a second hand M Monochrome. But I chose a new M 240. I'm new in RF. I think, with M nothing can go wrong because there is also the possibility to use EVF. But I will mainly use RF. In the coming period I will learn a lot about using this camera! Best regards, Elihimmet Two days ? LIKE ME !!! Welcome !!!
Paulus Posted January 10, 2014 Share #26 Posted January 10, 2014 Whether you see them or not in your LR library depends on your LR settings. Jaap, How do I set my lightroomsetting, so that I can see the B&W Jpegs. With the lightroom 5 and M it seems to be differtent, than with my former M9 + Lightroom 4?
