How do you get on with the evf on a shot like that, I am finding the nex 6 quite dim and difficult to use in bright sunshine, is the A7 different/better?

Hi, I do not use the evf but the display, and the A7 sits on a monopod.

If necessary, I use a hand as a shield in bright sunlight ...

Yes, this is so ... But it does not bother me because I like to take my pictures

using a monopod, and looking down on the display, ROLLEI 6x6 like ...

Hi, A7 with Ernst Leitz Telyt R 6,8/400 (crop). The Garden Dormouse (protected species)

came in the morning, which is extremely rare.

Have a nice Sunday!

Ah yes, the Rollei method, I can't find an option in the menus for reversing the image left to right though....

My 'solution' to the 'problem' is to raid the bag with the Leica III in it...:)

Nice combination! And with optical viewfinder. Some people find cameras without

a viewfinder completely useless.

With some, it is a matter of taste, with some a question of eyesight.

If you need reading glasses, you might have to extend your arms very far, leeding to image blur. ---

Years ago, the ROLLEI 6x6 was widely used for training professional photographers,

because it led to a more distanced way of looking at the picture than straight through

the eye and a viewfinder ...

That would be me, I would never buy a camera without a viewfinder, I have never use my A7 screen to focus

Hi, many people would agree with you. That is why the early NEX cameras were not bought by some, until the NEX-7 and later the 6 came.

Hi, I just got an admin note:

Die Ansage ist: Keine Sony Bilder mehr von Dir im Leica Forum.

(No more SONY pictures from you in the Leica Forum).

Goodbye from me ...

This is the Leica Forum.

Of course it's OK if sample images of other cameras with Leica lenses.

But if one (1) member has 1.113 posts in Sony NEX 3 thread of more than 1800 postings I say: Enough is enough.

This is the main reason why I asked not to post more Sony images.

There is more - but I'm not going to discuss that in public.

Not sure if this thread is still open but here goes...

Sony A7 + Summicron 40/2 - I love the rendering of this lens stopped down at f8.
