Further to my post above about tube service disruptions, I note that the link is a date offset link so it increments itself every day and by Friday, for example, it won't be showing Saturday's tube disruptions but those from another day.

So instead please use this link and enter Saturday 28th yourself after clicking the "Future Dates" hyperlink towards the top of the page.

I've put my order in for some decent weather so we'll have to see what turns up.:)

If anybody would like to swap mobile numbers to let me know about travel, weather problems or other disruptions you might be encountering on the day and be able to find where we've got to and catch us up, then please send me a PM.:)

Thanks to everyone who came along and made the day such a pleasant one. Special thanks to the new-comers and I hope you felt welcome, thoroughly enjoyed the day and will come along to more. Special thanks to Chuck for travelling all the way from Seattle just to join us. (I know you pretended that there were other reasons for travelling to London but I think we all know that the real reason was to meander with fellow forum members.:D)

MI5 will doubtless be scrutinising the photos they will have taken as we drooled on the plate glass window at Spycatcher - and combing the archives for mention of a covert group that carries Leicas … :p

For reference for those who expressed interest:

- the first Dickensian back street (with no name) that we looked at was off Cross Keys Close, which itself is off Marylebone Lane

- the cheese (La Fromagerie), chocolate (Rococo) and butcher's (Ginger Pig) shops are on Moxon Street off Marylebone High Street

- the Wallace Collection is on Manchester Square.

- the venue we finished up at is 'The Coach Makers of Marylebone' on Marylebone Lane
