Introduced in 1999, the CV 50/1.5 ASPH LTM is not what I would call vintage.

My Leica 35 Summicron ASPH was introduced in 1996. Pretty modern.

Both this B&W photo and the color photo in my next post, were taken recently with the M-P 240 and a Summilux 75 (at f5.6).  The B&W photo was taken in the Azores; the color in the Bahamas.  For those of you who use the new Mononchrom, I'd like to ask your opinions about the B&W conversion.  I've read that a B&W conversion using the M240 yields dynamic range and tonality comparable to the MMII.  Do you agree?  I've tried B&W conversions with the M9 and M240:  For me, the M240 conversions are clearly superior.  My B&W with the MMI has greater inherent contrast than an M240 conversion, but the M240 conversion seems capable of better dynamic range.

Any thoughts, experiences?  Thank you.  Tom
