steveclem Posted November 11, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've had a root around and found a bunch of slides (180 so far) I'd like to digitise, has anyone had experience good or bad with the services available? This guy seems to be on the level, are there any other choices people have used and been happy with? Cheers, Steve

steveclem Posted November 16, 2013 Author Share #2 Posted November 16, 2013 Ok , does anyone have a decent system of duplication in place as an alternative to commercial outfits?
250swb Posted November 21, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 21, 2013 You could perhaps try the Ilford Lab, they do slide scanning, or any other commercial lab such as Peak Imaging. But ultimately it may just be cheaper for you to buy a slide scanner and do it yourself. Plustek are good scanners, often excellent prices available on Ebay. chris_livsey Posted November 21, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 21, 2013 I bought this. Great value. I run it with vuescan pro.Pete I have the same scanner and concur. however the Op may be better with the 8200 as that has IR dust removal, he is scanning slides and I doubt, though it is always possible, he has reverse processed BW film
