pgk Posted November 8, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I assume that someone will! If anyone on the forum does, I have been given a box of photo gear - mostly rubbish like 126 cameras and the like, but there are two unused rolls of film in their original packaging - 1 x 135-36 Agfa Dia Direct (dated 7/95) and 1 x Polaroid 135-24 200ISO print film (dated 09/2006). If anyone would like these I can send them for postage cost only. It seems a pity and a waste just to throw them into landfill otherwise. [There are flashcubes/bulbs too, but I don't think that the post office like such things in the post these days].
Advertisement Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Hi pgk, Take a look here Dies anyone collect unused 35mm film?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted November 8, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 8, 2013 Be careful with those flashbulbs! They are unobtainable nowadays and sought after. There are no regulations against sending them in the post afaik.
earleygallery Posted November 8, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 8, 2013 Hi, If any of that lot includes cameras with 127 film spools I'd be interested, in case you're going to throw them away! I'd list the bulbs on ebay, someone will want them.
pgk Posted November 8, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted November 8, 2013 Hi, If any of that lot includes cameras with 127 film spools I'd be interested! Sadly not I'm afraid - its mostly cheap end stuff but I might well end up photograph the lot and offer anything for postage costs or a donation to charity. pgk Posted November 8, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted November 8, 2013 What is in the box is a bizarre Crystar 'spy' camera complete with yellow (!) leather case and 3 rolls of PAL Panchro film in their box. A quck web search suggests that its from the 1950/60s so the film is a little out of date to put it mildly. Same offer - if anyone wants it they can have it for a charitable donation + postage. A Baby Rolleiflex is one of the items I'd like to have... bout would like also to have the way to use it at least for few dozens of pics... ... seems to me that Efke is no more operative and Rolleifilm has ceased to make 127 rolls... (I am also tempted by a Contaflex 126 just seen for sale... )
