The shape of the front of the two cases is cosmetically slightly different, but mechanically and functionally I believe the EV-2 and EVF2 are identical, and I believe the EP-9 will work with the Leica unit. I have the EVF 2 one. The shape of the inner collar, visible after removing the original rubber ring, is exactly as in the drawing in post #8.
