Karl G Posted October 13, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 13, 2013 Nice juxtaposition of the new and old. I love the old wheel with it's Hugh inertial wheel.

jdlaing Posted October 21, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted October 21, 2013 Hello JD, Nice photo. Any idea what is in the flywheel? Best Regards, Michael Thanks! If it is like any other I have seen opened up it is pieces of stone. Some of them are built like a 4 spoke wagon wheel with stone in the four quarters and a wooden band around the outside. This one isn't too old as the top of the flywheel is plywood.
fotografr Posted October 24, 2013 Share #6 Posted October 24, 2013 The brown tones, the old and new wheels facing each other, reflections on the glass and the face at the top combine to make a very interesting image.
