Dear All,

The Japanese rainy season still continues even we are about to turn the calender from July to August. I took this photo on 23rd July at Kakegawa Bird & Flower Garden.

Data: Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm/f2.8 at f2.8, R9 + DMR, C1, CS2

Hi ! DD,

Thank you for your comment.

During these rainy days, I managed myself to learn more about digital processing.

This is the same bird(s) taken with EBX (Elite Chorome) with Apo-Elmarit-R 180mm/f2.8.

It looks quite similar to the digital version.

Thanks for looking.

Interesting looking birds but what really makes these shots sing is the background and composition. In the top image the bird is framed nicely out of the center with the concentric circles pulling everything together. Beautiful work.

Brent,

Besides color and focus, composition, as you said, is very important.

Thank you fro your comment.

jmr,

The place where I took this picture was a family oriented indoor park, however, because of the colors and shallow water pool as a background, the picture became surrealistic !

Thank you for your comment.

Dirk-san,

Okusama ha ogenki desuka?

Thank you for looking.

Al,

Thank you for your kind comment.
