earleygallery Posted August 1, 2013 Share #4 Posted August 1, 2013 What have they done to the bottom of the case, looks like the leather is torn?!
jaapv Posted August 1, 2013 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2013 I guess that is where the tripod screw goes. Just make sure it is in the right place; there is a 7 mm difference between the M and the M8/
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted August 1, 2013 Share #6 Posted August 1, 2013 What have they done to the bottom of the case, looks like the leather is torn?!James its a piece of like cling film to protect the tripod mount i guess. When I opend the box i went WTFIT then pulled it off and realized it was just to make sure it arrived in tip top condition. My last case was a Luigi and that was great but the workmanship in this is top drawer and I dont want to piss anyone off but 10 times better than my last case................needs to be for the price:D:D:D
jaapv Posted August 1, 2013 Share #7 Posted August 1, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Actually, looking at the images I suspect it is in the M9 location as it is exactly in the middle.

Just make sure it is in the right place; there is a 7 mm difference between the M and the M8/9I havent had a close look Jaap but I think the tripod screw just goes into the case and not all the way through to the camera body.....will check later

satureyes Posted August 1, 2013 Share #12 Posted August 1, 2013 Do you have to screw in the case with the tripod socket every time you want to remove the camera and re-insert it each time - or is it a sort of 'pass through' hole? It's a real pain to change battery/memory card no?
Paul J Posted August 1, 2013 Share #13 Posted August 1, 2013 That is one nice case man. Please take a pic when you have the camera and it's in it!
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted August 1, 2013 Share #14 Posted August 1, 2013 Do you have to screw in the case with the tripod socket every time you want to remove the camera and re-insert it each time - or is it a sort of 'pass through' hole? It's a real pain to change battery/memory card no? I would need to take a closer look but from what I know when you want to change battery and SD card you just open the pop studs at the corners where the strap eyes are and just pull the camera out of the case.......dont need to mess with the tripod screw at all

349A Posted August 1, 2013 Share #17 Posted August 1, 2013 How long was the ordering process from order date to delivery? I ordered one a few days ago, I'm just curious how long they take. I'm also wondering if I'll miss the wonderful wooden grip of my Luigi case. I know I wont miss the fit. Jonathan

I can't see how it would work any other way? Thanks! Rick

I ordered one a few days ago, I'm just curious how long they take. I'm also wondering if I'll miss the wonderful wooden grip of my Luigi case. I know I wont miss the fit. Jonathan Jonathan it was ~4 weeks because they had no stock. I had mine sent to a work mates house in the US and he hand carried mine to Nigeria for me.My one has a small grip on the front, looks ok but hard to tell without a camera in it
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted August 1, 2013 Share #20 Posted August 1, 2013 Ok.. but then it's not a thread but just a metal hole underneath.. other cases actually screw into the tripod mount and then the mount on the case becomes the new tripod screw. I can't see how it would work any other way? Thanks! Rick Rick the bottom of the case has a tripod mount basically you screw the tripod into the bottom of the case not into the camera
