lucerne Posted July 19, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've shot my way to 4k since January. What shutter counts do other members consider key milestones in the life of this model. Are there any life estimates suggested either by Leica or experienced owners? Advertisement Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Hi lucerne, Take a look here M9 shutter count milestones. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
250swb Posted July 19, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2013 I suppose it depends when you bought it, but from new in the first six months mine was at 17,000 according to the 'Unique Image ID' number, which isn't a high number compared to others. IWC Doppel Posted July 20, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2013 Seems 50k - 100k is not unusual. My M9-P has moved from less than 1,000 in April 2012 to just over 10k and not missed a beat
ananda Posted July 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2013 When I had an M9 there was some software that could give you the actuation count. It does not apparently work with the M but I wonder if there is software, a little program, to give you number of actuations for the M???
