wilfredo Posted April 7, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thus far I only use Capture One to preview thumbnails. Is there a way to transfer the image to PS? I would like to experiment with the Capture One image as a starting point when doing post processing using PSCS. Advertisement Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here Capture One. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jager Posted April 7, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Sure. Just make sure you've got PS set as your editor under Preferences-Processing-Attributes-"Selected Application". Then when you're in the processing tab, make sure you've got the "Open Image after Processing" box checked. Your image will then automatically open in PS after C1 processes the raw file. farnz Posted April 7, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Jeff, Â I'm using C1 LE that came with my M8 and there is no "Processing Attributes" option in Preferences, so I can't choose PS as my default editor. Â Were you referring to C1 Pro by any chance? Â Pete.
Venkman Posted April 7, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Pete, Â Windows or Mac? Â Windows has the preference tab where you can chose the program to open the processed files with.
FMB Posted April 7, 2007 Share #5  Posted April 7, 2007 Pete  I have the spanish version LE and don't know how in english they call in Preferences "varias configuraciones" (between Preview cache and Save Options). There is a place to tick "Automatically open processed images".  Bye,  Francisco.

I'm using a PC. Can you tell me what steps to follow?  Thanks, Wilfredo+ Benitez-Rivera Photography
FMB Posted April 7, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wilfredo, I don't know if you have C1 Pro o C1 LE. Â Â In LE version, I suppose the same in Pro, you go to File>Preferences>...( depending on...) you can find Proccesing> Attributes... or as I've said en the reply before "Varias configuraciones". Â Bye, Francisco.
Venkman Posted April 7, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Wilfredo, Â Alt+P for preferences, then "miscelanous"? (I'm on the german version) tab, there's a box to tick with "open processed" - tick the box and tick the selection "chose application" - and click the button to chose PS. Â Hope this helps, bit hard when you're on a different language version.
farnz Posted April 7, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted April 7, 2007 Dirk, thanks, I've found it. Â In the English version the Preferences tab is called "Miscellaneous Settings" and then, as you say, use the "Choose" button half way down the panel and browse to the address of your desired editor (PS, PSP etc) on your pc. Â Pete.
Jager Posted April 7, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted April 7, 2007 I'm using C1 Pro, but the original C1 LE that came with the M8 worked the same way (there is very little interface difference between the Pro and LE versions). Â Wilfredo, sounds like Preferences is called "Miscellaneous Settings" in the Windows version. Hope you've been able to find it. C1 will definitely do what you want it to. Venkman Posted April 8, 2007 Share #16 Â Posted April 8, 2007 In Windows, you process a file and tick the box "open processed images" before you start processing. It's located beneath the batch window where the images for processing are listed.
