I got the XV quite late in my photographic life. I was gifted it actually by my brother. What I'm happy to see here on this thread is the amount of love XV users have for it. And that shows up in your photographs. It's been on two trips with me now. One to Europe and more recently to Tripura a state in northeast India. I think it's going to be with me a long time.

Farhiz, this is a very fine picture. It is highly evocative, simple and beautifully executed. It deserves to be more widely published, starting with one of the Leica pictures forum threads. I like it very much indeed.

Living on a farm, we have this right outside our windows,.

While a simple close-in shot of the horse's eye might look simple, believe me it is far from simple.

Lots of practice, and more luck.

The horse moved his head a lot, already not easy to frame and fear that it will leave.Effectively, I may have to remove the straw with PS, safer.

 

I meant it in a good way — the photo being so realistic and sharp. :-)
