I confirm Gary, the X-Vario is the most versatile for travel. Already a month with my new kit M262, still not used. I prefer my X-Vario. This M262 is finally more for the legendary side of Leica ...

Heck!!! I admire your patience, but if I had a new M262, the temptation to use it all the time would be too strong.

In travel I find the combination X-Vario and M6 plus a couple of M lenses is ideal. Digital plus film.

I've found the X-Vario to be a great camera.  It's a disappointment that it's not going to

Gary , in addition, I have an extra problem, not expected. I use LR5.7 shipped with the X-Vario, but do not read the M262 correctly. So I bought Capture One Pro 10 to operate the M. Now I started my training with this new software, which will require a certain time. Please wait ........

Same/similar problem to me as well P38. I too have LR5, and when I had a recent short-lived affair with a new X-Pro2, I found LR would not cooperate with my (Fuji) RAW files.

X-Vario is now my main and almost only digital. I am predominantly film, got a new to me MP today.

Europe beckons in August, the X-Vario will be with me of course, plus a couple of film cameras, (MP and SWC).

Had the Leicaflex out for some "flower and natures pics" yesterday, of course the X-Vario went along.

It will be interesting to see what the film looks like compared.
