Got a bit of time at a local track meeting yesterday, the local Mini Club.  Great day out, some wonderful cars there.

They're great Rick, something I too have found with the casual play I have had with close up flower pics.

You used it handheld, and at the closest setting, or with a tripod and close up lens attached?

Either way, wonderful shots.

A leisurely twenty-minute stroll along the beach from our current location - and an ideal stop for a cafe solo :)  Torre La Sal, about 100km north of Valencia.

Wow.

Is it just me, or is there a common thread here, where the X-V seems to be extremely suited to closer up flower photography. I know mine sees a lot of flower use.

Wonderful shots, all of them.

Yes the X Vario is a wonderful close up camera - flowers are perfect subjects for the XV.   For me , however, it is fantastic to see some color - any color  - after such a really brutal cold and snowy winter.  Therefore lots of flower shots.

Another flower! A different hibiscus, this time taken using the Raynox M-150 close-up attachment (hand-held and waiting for the breeze to drop).

I would be glad about your participation in the 11th Leica X challenge

„Silence„

Silence can be solemn, oppresive, eerie or breathless.
Silence we’ll find  in nature as well as in man-made environment.
To capture the silence is the challenging task of the 11th X-competition.
