posting one more from the Tiger Lilies group. Buried in this one are a couple of references to photo concerns: dusty negative, scratches, and sensor fungus, all of which were not edited out as they are within the natural subject: highlight on a spider web, and the bokeh on flower made me think of fungus. The camera was on a tripod so I could experiment in this series with a variety of shutter/aperture combinations as well as different flash settings to aid in capturing the flowers blowing in the wind.

ISO 200  f/5.1 1/200 processed from the raw file

Found a dead wasp in front of the house the other day and it was an intact specimen, so I photographed it with the XV:) Shot with the Raynox 250 at 46mm, ISO 100, f16, at 1/30.

Urban Triptych-

This is a third triptych from my recent travel to New York. After a visit to the Biennial at the Whitney, we wandered to the village for drinks at Chumley's and then found ourselves in front of the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street. I made these exposures just west toward Seventh Ave.

It is tricky with the XV and I have had difficulty using it on the fly and in low light in the past.

The first one here was 23mm 1/8th sec @ f4.5. Having taken a couple before I got this one , I had set my aperture wide-open. The subject gal in white pants was standing in the shadows having a smoke so I went for as low a shutter as I felt I could get away with. I do love to blend movement with color (a la William Albert Allard and Ernst Haas before him:)  and hoped that her parading movement against the backdrop of the building and the others would turn out interesting. It is possible I had ISO on auto inadvertently as it was only ISO1000.

The last one with pink mohawk interacting with guy at door I set camera to 3200 and lens wide open so that one was 1/30th of a sec f 3.5

I feel like all three of the images have a theatrical component that connects them, hence the triptych.
