this afternoon .........

I've had this camera less than 24hrs and am pleased with almost all of the 200 or so shots I have taken .......:)

I've had a Sony A7r for 8 weeks, taken 1500 shots and am pleased with a handful......:o

that's what counts with a camera .....

this will be my permanent go-anywhere alternative when I don't want an M/MM and a bag of lenses ......

Beautiful dynamic range on the church picture. Lovely dog portrait.

Congratulations and you're not the first who's having the XV as an M/MM companion.

The church is a bit of trickery I found in LR5........

The AUTO button in TONE in LR is basically useless with Leica images ......they become hopelessly over-exposed .... BUT .......

if you then reduce the exposure slider back towards normal you get a very acceptable pseudo-HDR effect..... all with two mouse clicks .... works very well with with images like this :)

Yes, the X Vario is really an excellent camera.

Photo # 1 and 2 are taken in Neumarkt / Egna, South Tyrol (trilingual country in Northern Italy).
