This quiet, meditative composition is captivating. Bravo, Doc.

The sunburst with the radiating steps and the horse statue almost shying away from it is magnificent, love it.

I really, really liked Agfapan 25. My favourite film ever I think.

Alongside, perhaps, PanatomicX?  Sharp sun, yellow filter, PanatomicX, what more could one wish for?  Long gone now, sadly.  Modern B/W films are just that:  modern.  Shoot PanatomicX and suddenly you were back in the 1960s when things seemed somehow both sharper and more simple ...

Wonderful composition Phil, restful and balanced. The tonality is sublime!

Thanks so much John. I'd think Panatomic X would have been equivalent but I never tried it. Having settled on Agfapan 25 early on I didn't actually see the need to experiment with other slow, fine-grained films. I did try Ilford's Pan F and Rollei's RPX 25 a bit later but never liked them as much. However they survived, while Panatomic X and Agfapan 25 disappeared. 🙁 I do like sharper and more simple though.
