Great photo, Antonio. A whole story  unrolls if you look long enough....

Ha, looks like a picture right out of the "Reader´s Digest" world... Wait, do I smell some apple cake ?  Perfect composition and great rendering of the gray-tones.

Fascinating, to think of the long journey these boulders have experienced.  The photo conveys the attractiveness and smoothness of these stones very nicely.

Very elegant, the curve in the foreground being balanced by the mountain range in the distance.. and if you listen carefully. you can even hear the chatter of the oystercatchers..

Things aren't what they seem to be. Looking at Steve's picture, I was primed for a sea-piece.... but even on a second look I see and hear the noise of the swell and the crashing of the waves onto the beach. Convincing, Rog.

Chapeau, Dmitry.  I really like your approach. And  I like the "Verfremdung" you introduce here to avoid the pitfalls of the theme . Could say I Francis Bacon meets Gustave Courbet ?

Thank you John - one of my all-time favourite Australian paintings, with a nicely observed twist: https://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/explore/collection/work/3000/
