And this one was overexposed by four stops. Still learning the camera's handling, which includes checking exposure even in a pinch. But boy, focusing is a breeze with the range finder! FYI: I use Lightmeter Pro. Does what it's supposed to do. Very convenient, as I have my phone always on me.

This last one is utterly charming, but it is screaming for some post processing.

Thanks for the kind words. But trust me, there's nothing more to find in the negative. Of course, AI-based apps can do whatever they do. But why shoot film in the first place, if post-production fixes its flaws (not suggesting that you were suggesting that ;)

The image is very salvageable and is, in fact, a beautiful portrait. I hope you don't mind but I did some work on it. I guess my attitude on fixing film with apps is that it's not any different than what one does with a negative in the enlarger where you adjust for contrast and exposure.

Cheers, Brent

Aryel, I like your approach of using the Thambar in daily situations. And your Santacolor - whatever it is - complements the softness of the images well.

Thanks a lot! I really like the combination and I find it perfect for these long corridors. On one hand they all look very similar, on the other hand they are all quite different as each owner arrange his front door based on individual lifestyle. I find that the Santacolor/Thambar combination convey this in a very respectful (dreamy ?) way.

Leica-0, Vision3 250D, ECN-2

Beautiful photograph. Can you tell us a bit more about the Leica 0 that was used?

Thank you. In fact it was a Leica-0 Replica (sorry to disappoint anyone, I will indicate it in the future), part of the first batch from 2000 (I believe), with the incredibly bad "viewfinder" (where everyone thinks you are holding a digital camera as you squint through a tiny window at arm's length desperately trying to see what's in the viewfinder while at the same time attempting to keep the middle axis straight...) definitely a hit and miss affair.

Enough has been written about the non-self-capping shutter and the ability to change shutter speeds only when the shutter is half wound on... or the shutter speed that is given in millimetres, not seconds.

However, once you got used to those features - well as used as you can get - the camera warms on you as it really is as basic as one can get and very compact. And the Anastigmat 3,5/50 is a little treasure in itself. I'll post some more pictures soon.

Wonderful light! Several aspects appear to me to be outstanding, the depth implied by the layering of greys from the dark front to the light back, the richness of detail and the absence of sky which unifies the image. May I ask which developer you used?
