Steve, this is a killer image. Elements of Atget, the Bechers, perhaps even Francis Frith... But still something unique about the rendition of such a beautifully designed and imagined building slowly giving in to its inevitable decline. The white sky sets it off perfectly as a classic image belonging to a classic heritage and the whole surface has the air almost of a pencil or pen and ink drawing. Wonderful.

Thanks Phil.  I really enjoy using the Isolette.  There is a classic quality in images made with these tessar type lenses and I find Delta 100 compliments them well.  Any other camera and I may well have used a yellow or more likely an orange filter, I was happy to let the sky go with this subject.

We often post "test shots" and sometimes they really aren't that. But these really are! I want to see them in lightbox, to see where I go from here.

These represent a lot of frustration. I love my Mamiya 7, but I've been scanning with my cropped sensor CL, which means the sensor covers around 1/7 of the negative. Stitching has been a very mixed bag.

So I was looking at medium format digital, and got an excellent deal on a used 52 mps MF Fuji FGX-R (they're getting dumped because of the amazing $6k 102 mps version with IBIS and pixel shifting). I've paired it with a Mamiya 645 120 f/4 macro. But because of, not only Fuji's complex UI, but so many stupid mistakes, it took me a month to get this up and working. These are the first shots, and I know I'm still leaving some mps on the floor.
