STK Posted May 27, 2017 Share #33162 Posted May 27, 2017 Really like the slides above STK, your daughters chocolate birthday cake face is so sweet, a lovely memory, and the finches are a great capture. Have really been enjoying your pictures, Stefan - this Goldfinch picture reminds me somehow of some of the Botanical illustration pictures from days gone by, as does the lighting in the lovely portrait of your daughter - classic. Thanks a lot coogee and stray cat! For me are these old slides a great memory, specially watched in an evening slideshow. After 13 years of digital photography I restarted in 2015 with negative films and since January 2017 with reversal films, which I appreciate very much. My son bought in 2015 a Leica IIIg - these was the beginning also for me to shoot films with Leica M cameras.

Doc Henry Posted May 27, 2017 Author Share #33167 Posted May 27, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Please excuse the dirty negatives, but Philip's recent sessions with extension tubes triggered me to have a try at using my MP-E65 lens on the EOS-1V HS. This is with Neopan Acros 100 @ ISO 50, with the first shot using an Otus 55 to show what the macro's were of. Lighting was poor (as were my attempts to focus), and exposure was guessed: A001 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr A002 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr A003 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr A005 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr A004 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr A006 by Eoin Christie, on Flickr Really impressive pictures .
