With my M9 or M8 , I often failed pictures, "against light"(contre-jour), specially when the sun is in front of me , rarely with film

Images in the film are really much higher than the M8 or M9 at any point of view

I do not understand why people like digital, especially if they are looking for quality rendering general (richness of color, depth, and for consistency,

relief brief all which is natural ....)

Look at this thread and compare the color and the overall effect of an image from a film and an image from the digital

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/landscape-travel/294184-mondial-air-ballons-2013-a.html

Your opinion ?

So I went yesterday to the Mondial Air Balloon , which takes place every two years.

There were more than 300 balloons, many Germans, Austrians, Dutch, French ...and even Dubai. There was a good atmosphere and summer is here.

I took these pictures in flight from 50m to about 200-300 m

Time 8:30 pm to 10am

Temperature 27°C

Richness of color, relief and depth of field higher than M9 ...and also M

on my Eizo screen, the balloons are really in relief :)

two balloons down and right become detached of green and yellow as an image in three dimensions

Thanks for looking and sharing :)

Time 8:30 pm to 10am

Temperature 27°C"

The wind not very strong pushes us northwest to the southeast

For hot air (which rises, cold air sinks) that pushed the balloon , because the soil is warm, balloon flights are usually in the evening

to take advantage of warm ascending current

The camera failed to escape from my hands with this picture , because I was against the nacelle of the ballon and returned :D

This is a "expensive" picture which remind me in memory :)

Lovely shots Henry, I've always wanted to go ballooning...

A couple people working precariously:

Koko thanks for posting

I like the balloon , safer than a known aircraft who currently has problems

The streets (second picture) are very New Orleans style , right ?

The MacroElmar is really good and it's a light lens

Henry

PS : "f76"? you mean "D76" Kodak developper

Thank you Henry. The second is actually Savannah, GA.

Also it is Clayton f76+. A wonderful one shot liquid developer (I use it at 9+1 for 6 min)
