The photographer in the picture is clearly on a difficult slope, but he's there for the photographs of the chamoix. In the plural. Now, this chamois thing, especially it's plural form, put me in a spot. It's a French word, as I learned when I went looking for the plural in an online dictionary. It seems that one might get away with "chamoises" if one wishes to remain strictly an anglophone.
