An impossibly heavy lens, I used quite a bit on my Nikon's. But a very nice pic Drei..

Tried it on my Leica...still unbalanced and super heavy.

Still can work on tripod if you can stop the zoom creep...I use a folded business card to hold position.

Nice pic,  again.

When I took the lens and camera to the fjord, my first thought was: OH HEAVY METAL!
But my heart and muscle memory made me feel like coming home.
This combination was my daily shooter for the 90s into the next millennium and yes it got me Roof&Burger.
The view through the finder let me hear all the great Rock Bands I have seen through this glas.
But you're right, today this combination feels like it's fallen out of time.

Sorry for the little homage to F4 and Pull Push,
this is about images and not about the tools.
