Very beautiful photograph, Sir ! Applause, applause.

So much yellow and blue, yet not much green. Extremely intriguing.

Thanks. Yes, full fall in the mountains just a few weeks ago. This is the Appalachian trail in Shenandoah with leaves covering everything…

Welcome back Gary! A great shot with an interesting piece of kit.

Cheers Phil. I've been about, lurking etc, but didn't have the inclination to post, even though I have been shooting a bit of film (and digital of course).

The "P27" is a modified A series magazine, I used a redundant A-24, they are modified in China, and shoot just like any A series magazine. Previously I had run 35mm film in that same A-24, successfully, but it was a pain as the film ran vertically, whereas this shoots normal 120 in landscape format (that is horizontally).

It's the whole neg, and no sky, fortunately. I duffed the chemical amount, only put 300ml in the tank, instead of the required 500mm, DOH. Negs came out sort of OK, but any lighter areas in the top half were mottled. I suppose after 55+ years of processing I am allowed to make that mistake, once.

It was Gary who encouraged me to get a Blad, and now that's pretty much all I use. Welcome back, indeed!

And Adan's checking in, too.

Must be something a lot better in the water than silver halide crystals!
