Haha, not so much a problem. I had only two cameras at the time - Leica M2 and M4 and four lenses - 21mm 3.4 Super Angulon, 35mm Summicron v.3, 50mm Summicron DR, 90mm Tele Elmarit M. BW in one and Kodachrome in the other when I was travelling. I might have said M4 as well in the comment, I’m not sure which camera I used. As to film and development I kept notes and still do. :)) Edited July 7, 2024 by Bo-Sixten

Paul Klee with his 'North African' paintings comes to mind. Am 4.7.2024 um 19:59 schrieb DreiPunkte: Your are on the right track with the Portra 160. The Portra delivers fine pastel-like tones, especially when it has a little more light, oposit to the Ektar which is more focused on contrast saturation. You can see the "Portra look" in many films. Here a highly saturated Ektar 100 sample and a -2 exposed Portra 400 picture Both RB67 Drei Punkte , thank you very much for the comment and the beautiful example pictures. Your experiences align with mine. However, I very rarely use Ektar 100 anymore and then mostly with the Hasselblad. As an everyday film, it is a bit too special for me. Even with the Portras, I actually prefer the 400 over the 160. In my experience, the 160 becomes very contrasty in the sun, so - somewhat counterintuitively - I use the 160 on cloudy days and the 400 on sunny days. In this case, however, I deviated from this rule for my vacation needs because I was concerned that my films would be scanned in Frankfurt and Tokyo, and the 160 seemed a bit less sensitive to me. Fortunately and to my surprise, the security staff in both Frankfurt and Tokyo were extremely friendly and accommodating - all films were manually inspected both ways.
