Delightfully soft portrait. I had forgotten what she looked like when young.

Eilean Glas lighthouse last Tuesday evening, Isle of Skye beyond.

About 45 mins walk from home, more if you like to dawdle around the coast like I do!

Great place for watching marine mammals; dolphin and minke whale are regulars, Atlantic grey seals etc & huge moon jellyfish

My seabird sightings in the past couple of weeks include white tailed eagle, great skua, Arctic skua, great northern diver, red throated diver, gannets, black guillemot, eider etc.

Always something to see and endlessly lovely, whatever the weather!

Kodak Ektar

Excellent shot, I really like the sun's intrusion into the frame.

Fantastic work, from the lighting to the development. It looks like large format.

Beautiful shot Steve, and a gorgeous backyard. Mind you I suspect it doesn't always look that serene.

Great angle, Detlef. I like the abstraction of the fruits... Looks as if Kant  stood behind you. The grape as the thing in itself...

Steve, you are triggering my memories of Scotland. These unbelievable caledonian sunsets...I was there in 80-81. Working 5 days and in the Highlands on the weekend..with a backpack and a tent...     No Fuji 617, but a Mamiya 6x6 . I'll have to do some archaeology...

Stefan, I´m sure Joseph would love it..  Great photo. Did they do an exhibition or is this more than temporary ?

Leicamour, I like the conceptual approach. And yes, to my experience too, they come in all shapes. If you intend to expand this body of work, may I suggest the title: The anthurium monologues ? 😁

Wow, Philipus. Did they prepare for King Kong as an inmate ? That's a really intimidating sight.... Phew....

I love this picture, Wayne. Dipsacus is a fascinating flower. Useful and aesthetically interesting. And the haptics of course.   I've bought a Rolleinar lately and am surprised how simple and effective it is. As you show us.

Thank you for the compliment. Normally, I have not paid much attention to this flower, other than the very intriguing husk that it leaves behind, and which often adds considerable texture to autumn/winter landscapes. But, I did notice this stand for an entire week as it blossomed along my evening walk with Zoe . I was crushed when it was knocked down in the county mowing effort. Imagine that, a moment of genuine sorrow........over the passing of a weed.
