Architectural artistry with the contrasting textures--it's a gift that this has survived over a hundred years. Did you happen to take more shots? The owner of the house is a psychoanalyst-she inhabits one floor, her children with their families two more floors. It´s the house were my son lives with his family too. Next time I'm there, I will make a total and get some more details. The house is actually in perfect shape and well looked after.

This is what we miss here, particularly in California, where we measure historical architecture in decades rather than centuries like you do in Europe. I'm looking forward to some architecture details. christoph_d Posted August 11, 2020 Share #70672 Posted August 11, 2020 Contax IIa, Sonnar 2/50, Agfapan 100, Rodinal ... can it get more classic? I am afraid though that the age and unsuitable storage of the Agfapan 100 shows in accentuated grain. Klosterkirche Dietramszell. Welcome, dear visitor! I took two similar photos with almost the same specs, just with Tri-X. I would have posted them here but here are the links on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/xicaradecafe/49362312063/in/album-72157691139131193/ and https://www.flickr.com/photos/xicaradecafe/49362793081/in/album-72157691139131193/ All the best! 1

Very nice, you should post them here. The extra sensitivity of Tri-X really helps in churches! I had to find some support from walls or the like to keep the camera still enough for my picture. By the way both, the camera and lens I used are from around 1955. The IIa is the black dial version, the Sonnar is the non-collapsible Carl Zeiss Opton and the out of focus areas are always delicious... 🙂 1

I have a 1950 if not December 1949 iia (a very early serial number) but the lens is uncoated pre-war. It still does a great job in bright conditions. I had posted the photos here before early in the year, but here they are again. All the best! : Welcome, dear visitor! I don't feel it has to warm up any more... it´s already soo hot...the rendering of the nuances of the red color are a compliment to the E100 and the Planar lens...and of course the photographers eye...
