A gate, not leading to the dark, neither to the light, rather to some almost textureless middle-grey. Gold—coloured frames as if for eternity, but topped by perishable wood; the size of the grain suggesting a tiny gate. And the background the colour of flames ... very mysterious ...

Carrying on with the same roll of Tri-X 400, this is my favourite carpark. Arguably that's a bit of a sad statement!!

Taken with the usual Hasselblad 503cx with Zeiss Planar 80mm CF f/2.8

Flipped the other way, horizontally, it is very much like a graphite drawing by Vija Celmins. Oceanscape.

I like it, Rog. Thanks for sharing that.  I think that I could "go both ways" on this.   :)🙃

Hello Adam,

Nice photo.

But, you are in the wrong Thread. This is "I like film". NOT "Post an image relating to the previous 1".

Best Regards,

Michael

Very funny, Michael.  I like that thread.  If you see any trees there, please do let me know 🙏

Having said that, I do like film, these photos are with film, and there is no prohibition against successively posting films photos of trees. 🧐  So to me it feels "right"

Apparently it´s some bark, but as Rog said, the pattern sends your association  in  a different  direction--waves, sea, charcoal sketch. So the tension between the perception "bark" and the differing associations make this the most interesting version of the 3 options--for me.
