philipus Posted January 31, 2018 Share #46725 Posted January 31, 2018 Because I am a forgetful photographer and couldn't remember if I had wound the A-12 magazine before shooting at Pichon Baron I had to return to shoot again I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to do this...Anyway, when I developed the rolls it turned out that I had actually wound the mag correctly (the earlier photos are from that roll). But the benefit of shooting at that location again was that a couple of newly-weds had arrived and were doing their best to obey the commands barked at them by a rather dominant wedding photographer. They didn't mind me doing my thing and I tried to stay out of their photos, but I managed to snap the below. Without them it would have been a poor picture, but with them it's at least a bit better. AntonioF Posted January 31, 2018 Share #46728 Posted January 31, 2018 I finally developed my first bulk loaded roll of Fomapan 400 Action. First time I use this film in general. Not bad, I have to say. The film looks grainy to me, more than Tri-X and HP5, particularly when used with an orange filter. I'm surprised I didn't mess up the bulk loading ... Here's a shot of an old Fiat 500 at the waterfront of Brindisi. A miller Posted February 1, 2018 Share #46740 Posted February 1, 2018 Henry - I think you mean "schmootz" You can't forget the "tz" at the end! Otherwise, you are prone to be misunderstood! Superb as usual Adam it reminds me your stree photos series many years ago Best Henry Philip - This happens to me all the time. Hasselblad have left some goofs to be made with their system! Very interesting POV in this shot. You might consider lifting the exposure at least a half of a stop. Because I am a forgetful photographer and couldn't remember if I had wound the A-12 magazine before shooting at Pichon Baron I had to return to shoot again I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to do this...Anyway, when I developed the rolls it turned out that I had actually wound the mag correctly (the earlier photos are from that roll). Flickr Steve - these are awesome and thanks for sharing! We had an amazing time and the Park was in true spectacular fashion. It was like a page from a fairytale with its delicate snow capped trees and twigs and slight mist in the air. Having the company of you, Stuart (with his Q) and Sharookh (with his brand new (as in one day old) Hassy X1D) in this setting was great fun. This dog was perhaps my favorite subject of the entire morning. and the obligatory dog, Eastman xx pushed to 400 ....
